Full Time Electronics Technician
CoastTec has an immediate opening for a Full Time Electronics Technician
Location: 1533 Progress Way, Suite 113, Eldersburg, Maryland 21784
Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Position is Full time with benefits after 90 days (vacation time and health/dental/vision insurance), company holidays, optional weekend overtime available.
Qualified candidates should be team players, have good organizational skills, be proficient using a computer, and have sound analytical problem-solving and documentation skills. Ideal candidates will have experience in testing power electronic circuits (AC/DC circuit knowledge) and troubleshooting knowledge of electronic circuits at the component level. Reliable transportation required.
Specific duties will include:
- Test, troubleshoot, and repair of Uninterruptable Power Supplies
- Battery pack assembly and replacement
- DC circuit troubleshooting, AC circuit troubleshooting
- Surface-mount and through-hole soldering
- Circuit functionality verification
- Use of oscilloscopes and digital multi-meters and basic hand tools
Job will also require some heavy lifting and some basic warehouse work

Specific duties depending on position may include:
Work includes product boxing, box assembly, packaging assembly, unit cleaning, quality control, charging, burn-in, lifting heavy boxes/product, quality control, sticker production, basic warehouse work, unloading trucks, unboxing products, organization of warehouse materials/inventory, stacking/sorting product, computer entry and product re-serialization, pulling materials or products from stock for production, scrapping obsolete product, disassembly of battery packs, inspection of battery pack components, battery pack assembly and replacement, use of manual and automated material handling equipment and other miscellaneous warehouse/production duties as needed.
